The most important thing to know about how to curl your eyelashes is that it is imperative to use a quality eyelash curler to get a perfect, beautiful curl every time.

Before you begin, make sure your eyelash curler is in proper working order. That means it’s clean (NO mascara residue on the pad or metal rim). Trust me when I tell you - this does make a difference.
Ready to curl? Remember, the lash curler is your friend, not meant as a torture device! Now let’s do this:
How to Use an Eyelash Curler
- Put your chin up and look down slightly in front of a mirror.
- With the open curler in hand, place it over the top lash line right at the root, ensuring you have all your lashes (and no skin) between the rubber pad and the metal rim so that every hair gets curled. You should feel comfortable and be able to blink in this position.
- Gently close the curler and squeeze for about 5-10 seconds. It should feel totally painless—if it doesn’t, start over and adjust your position.
- Remove the curler and inspect the results. If you want more curl, repeat. Those with longer lashes may want to “walk” the curler midway up the lash and squeeze again for a softer, rounder, fuller curl.
